Abcdiagnosis is an organisation and network offering peer to peer support for people with breast cancer. Aiming to reduce fear, anxiety and isolation, while supporting them to resume normal life, living both with and beyond cancer. We specifically provide a website but also provide a red flag infographic for signs and symptoms of metastatic breast cancer which is downloadable in 12 languages and NHS England signpost to it. Being approved across Wales and embedded for primary patients and Scotland are doing the same. It’s used in England via Cancer Alliances. I provide a downloadable book (free for charge) and for a paper copy a small fee patient story and handbook from mammography right through to metastatic disease and the issues inbetween. I provide a 2 night motivational exercise retreat for breast cancer patients to attend I run 5 a year in Saddleworth and they have supportive exercise to help motivate them to doing more which also offers peer support In Greater Manchester I have 11 Nordic Walking Instructors that deliver free Nordic walking for breast cancer patients.
